Spring. Nature is waking, also national rally championships are waking up, that didn’t have a chance to start in the winter. Last weekend, the Ukrainian Championship also woke up from hibernation. It began in the southern part of the country. And at night between the two days of the rally, the hot rally heads ’heads were greatly cooled by the rain. Lots of rain.

Two out of two. The Finns had a great start to this rally season. Both winter events took place, and in addition, the WRC caravan visited unexpectedly. Also the historic debut of the new WRC class in the second Finnish championship event. It is good for a rally to live in this patch of land.
Sno*Drift Rally
The US also has its own winter rally. Happening in the northern part of the country, Sno*Drift Rally is a little different from the usual winter events known to Europeans. The difference is that the Concept of this rally is more reminiscent of a Monte Carlo, as most of the result consists of tire choice and the ability to keep the car on the road in extremely slippery conditions.

At least in one of the Baltic countries, the rally season has finally started. Lithuania and Latvia have to wait for it for almost a quarter of a year. The roads of the first event of the Estonian Rally Championship not only welcomed the local people but also became a training ground for many crews from all over the world. The situation in the Rally World is now such, that instead of choosing what to write about, you are just looking for something that at least happened over the weekend. And luckily for all of us, there is a bit of action – either Southerners or Northerners are moving a little bit. On the other hand, it’s quite interesting to look for more valuable stories from events you wouldn’t even know about in normal times.
Qatar International Rally
This time, the Qatari rally is more exciting than usual. In the past, the bet was worth either of the second place winner or the number of minutes Nasser Al-Attiyah would beat his nearest opponent. And in history, the number of those minutes ranged from one to 15. So it’s no wonder that this year it was the fifteenth victory of a Qatari in his home – Qatar International Rally
